The Stolen Years.

“有些人 在心底从来没忘记
有些事 有些梦 还找不到谜底
有些话 越欲言又止 就越是动听
让我们 靠近 想悄悄告诉你
多爱你”

The melody of the lyrics keep echoing in my mind.
Hmm..

Just came back from watching "The Stolen Years".
A touching romantic movie acted by Joseph Chang and Fay Bai.
A brilliant movie by Hong Kong award-winning director, Huang Zhen Zhen.

Time flies.

Have you ever picture yourself in 5 years time?
What will happen and what you will turn into?
Imagine from 24 turning into 29 and waking up only remembering you're still 24.

The stolen 5 years of memories.

This movie bring us to a girl who lost her memory for the past 5 years after involving in a car accident.
Waking up after a month of coma, not knowing that she has divorced her husband,
even her closest friend has turned into stranger.
She struggle to find out what exactly was hidden in her lost 5 years memory.
The deeper she ventured, the more she realized things were totally different from what has left in her.
But determination has gotten her another chance in life,
to be able to love the man she loved so much and still loving,
to truly live her life as a whole, new person.

I was tremendously holding back my tears when I was watching.
Both main actor and actress have greatly portrayed their respective characters.
I was impressed, emotional and touched.
Though it was only a movie,
but it somehow reflects on us as human being,
how we usually treated others,
what we have done, be it the good or the bad.
There is no time for regretting.
But if we truly understand the meaning of life,
you will, eventually, find the meaning in your life.

I don't usually blog about movie I have watched.
But this is one great movie that I must blog about otherwise I will feel bad for not doing it.
Good things are to be shared.

God, this movie totally calmed my day, and night.
Thanks Doinky for the treat.

Love you.
